Southbank

Whilst I longed off skateboarding a long time ago, I strongly back this video, which is about saving the legendary skating area of Southbank.
Watch the video here.
Areas like this are vital to todays society. I have only ever been to Southbank a few times when I was younger, but as described in the video, the amount of people that use this area for fun/meeting new people/hanging out with friends is unreal.
It seems in todays society something is taken away from us every day. We are constantly being told what to do, but more so what not to do. There are so many things that we can do at the moment that future generations won't be able to enjoy (The closing down of many music venues in London is another thing being taken away all the time).
Whilst I agree with some of them (like the banning of drinking alcohol on public transport), others need to be fought, and this is one of them. (Incidentally two things I can see being banned in the future are; Smoking whilst driving, and listening to loud music whilst driving.)
Please take the time out to watch this video and sign the petition here.
